Minval Code
Codes and Guidelines for the
valuation of mineral properties have been adopted in Australia and
are being developed in Canada. The sponsors of the USMinval Code
believe that a similar code is needed that addresses both the
needs of the international mining community and the specific
requirements of the United States. This effort is similar to and a
logical extension of the international effort to develop a common
set of definitions and guidelines for classification of reserves
and resources.
